Florin Residents Can Meet Housing and Resource Navigators at Southgate Library November 3

FLORIN, Sacramento County — November 1, 2026. Florin-area residents looking for housing information or community support can talk with trained navigators at Southgate Library on Tuesday, November 3, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Sacramento Public Library lists the program at 6132 66th Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95823, a branch it identifies as being in the Florin residential area. Navigators can explain available resources and help connect residents to housing support, shelter information, food assistance, healthcare and other local services.

What the program can—and cannot—do

A navigator can help a person identify where to apply or whom to contact. A library visit is not a guarantee of placement in housing, emergency shelter, financial assistance or a benefits award. Each outside program has its own rules, available capacity and application process.

The library schedules housing and resource navigation at Southgate on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with additional November dates listed. Residents can check the official calendar for a convenient appointment or ask whether walk-ins are accepted.

Before visiting

Consider bringing written questions and relevant documents if comfortable doing so, but avoid sharing sensitive identification or financial records with anyone who is not an authorized service provider. Southgate Library’s main information number is (916) 264-2920. Call to verify availability, accessibility and whether interpretation is offered.
